Our Go Gray In May 1K Emoji Fun Run will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Silt, Colorado in conjunction with the Silt Policy Department Bike Safety Rodeo.
Race proceeds go to benefit The National Brain Tumor Society.
Did you know there are individuals with brain tumors living right here in our valley? This Fun Run and Community Event is intended to increase brain tumor awareness and as a fundraiser for the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS). This organization does so much to fund brain tumor research and support individuals and families impacted by brain tumors.
Our Go Gray In May 1K Emoji Fun Run will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Silt, Colorado in conjunction with the Silt Policy Department Bike Safety Rodeo.
Registration will begin at 8:30am and the run will start at 10:00am at Roy Moore Park (822 Orchard Ave, Silt CO).
Race participants will then walk/run/ride a 1K route ending at Veterans Park (500 Home Ave, Silt CO) where they are encouraged to participate in the Bike Safety Rodeo.
Our hope is for participants to come for the race and stay for the rodeo!
Feel free to dress to support someone fighting a brain tumor or dress like your favorite emoji!
It is our mission to increase community brain tumor awareness through this event, and help those fighting brain tumors to see that they have a whole community supporting them in their fight. If all goes well, we’d like to make this an annual event.
